(First time I’ve made a GIF, so it’s a bit cutoff :S)
PPS. Plus for some reason even after I reduced it down it still wouldn’t upload right :/.
As I begin to suggest to Gerhard that RuneScape 3 will no doubt be hit with this sort of resistance, he begins to laugh knowingly.
“You’re right - you’re really right,” he says. “We’ve actually all got company t-shirts that say ‘Worst Update Ever’ on them. No matter what you do, someone will hate it.”
With the rush of ‘07 Servers and the live Q&A they held recently for it, it has made me consider some things. I am considering voting, but for this explanation.
There’s a multitude of views on how people see the ‘07 Servers release: the EoC replacement, a nostalgia trip down memory lane, or just something fun to try.
If I did vote for it in the end, I would do it for the ability to play as I did years ago, but I still would play the normal version for the fact I enjoy it more. I have access to Classic as well, but I only play on it every now and then for kicks and enjoyment. As always I play the main game because it draws more interest.
I want to vote for it, but on the basis I would play it for enjoying older times.
My original thought is most voters possibly may be voting for it because of their hate for the EoC, they want this to replace it eventually, or just live in the ‘07 World permanently. I’m not nor will ever be for that, so hopefully I won’t be plopped into that same category. I do respect what everyone thinks, I just hope it doesn’t pan out how I may have perceived it. Just enjoy Runescape in its entirety, the original Classic version, the ‘07 wonder years, and present day Evolution of Combat. If everyone enjoys Runescape completely, even with all the updates, I think the community wouldn’t split like people may suggest.
Hey Guys,
It appears something on my site has triggered a (hopefully) temporary IP ban to Jagex’s servers, and I’ve had to temporarily disable everything that makes requests to their servers.
This means that the calc is currently DOWN. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and I’m doing what I can to get things back up and running. I will update as I can. Thanks for understanding!
